There are three types of software Satellite availble for Windows deployments.
App centric
- No client footprint
- No installation required, just simple drag and drop
- Simple progress UI for user progress reporting
Installer centric
- Requires installation (establishes an audited footprint)
- Ideal from persistent running as a service
- Silent background running
Command Line centric
- Adopts the App centric model
- Reduces deployments costs for large scale enterprise networks
- Designed for large scale unattended ‘push’ deployments
Linux Satellites (as of MCS 10.1f) reduce operating costs through the use of auto updating technology on server. Support X86, Arm and 64bit platforms.
Visualware Satellites are available on iOS and Android, which makes on-the-go testing a reality. Our API is available for those wanting to develop and customize the app experience.
