Publish Connection Test

This section allows you to publish a custom or pre defined test to a web page or an agent.

You can then direct customers/users to the web page or direct them to download the agent and they can run your custom test for themselves. This is very useful if you need to test a particular type of connection from a remote location.

By clicking the Publish a New Connection Test button you are taken to the same screen explained in the publish a custom test section of the manual. If this is what you want to do then click here.

The table shown in the image above lists all the published web pages and remote agents. It includes links to view the pages you have previously set up or you can delete the pages from this view as well.

Just below the Publish a New Connection Test button are two further options:

Integrate connection test into existing web page (advanced) - You can use the HTML code created in this section to integrate a connection test Java applet into your existing web page. Simply copy and paste the code into any web page on any server. Learn more

Create an applet config file manually (advanced) - MyConnection Server features a highly configurable connection testing applet.

This section allows you to modify the display and several behaviors of the applet, such as test types, color schemes, graphs, tabs, branding preferences and reporting options. Each piece of text that the applet displays is also changeable, allowing the whole applet to be translated into other languages. Learn more
