Integrate a connection test into an existing web page

This feature allows you to use the HTML code created to integrate a connection test Java applet into your existing web page. Simply copy and paste the code into any web page on any server.

To get started click the Integrate connection test into existing web page link as shown below. This link is found in the Publish connection test link on the main MyConnection Server menu.

The integration screen looks like the image below:

1 - Run Test

From the drop down menu provided simply choose the pre defined or custom test you want the applet to run. For example if you chose MyCapcity from the drop down menu the applet in your web page would only perform this test.

2 - Use Applet Configuration

The default configuration is selected by default. Creating an applet configuration file allows you to change the look and feel of the applet and also the components of the different plugins (MySpeed, MyVoIP etc). If you have created a config file that you want to use with your new applet then select it from this drop down menu. For more information on creating an applet config file click here.

3 - HTML Code

As you change the drop down menus in sections one and two the code in section three will change. Once you are happy with your choices simply copy and paste the code in this section into your existing web page.

Note that if the web page you copy the code to is being served on another web server then the host/domain will need to be added to the Permitted Domains section found in the server configuration section of MyConnection Server.
