This window will also show tests that have already been created, giving you the option of either modifying or deleting the test from this view.

To create a test enter a new test name into the indicated section and click the "Create Test" button. This will give you the window shown below in fig 2:

Fig 2: Modify Test

The window shown in fig 2 above is where the plugins are defined. A custom test can use just one plugin or all five. Simply check the plugins to be included in the test.

To set specific options for each plugin click the "show options" link next to each plugin.

Once the plugins needed have been selected and all the options set click the "update test" button to update the test.

The window will the return to the one shown in fig 1 above, and the newly created test will be shown in the list, as shown below in fig 3:

To modify or delete the test use the links next to the test name. To run a custom test from this view click the "Click here to run a test using the applet" link at the bottom of the page. See fig 4 below:

Fig 4: Run custom test page.

The page shown above in fig 4 lists each custom test and shows which plugins have been activated for which test. Simply click the run test link to run the test or click the modify link to change the settings for that test.

In this example the "customtest" test has been run, see fig 5 below:

The custom applet now shows a speed, video and VoIP tab as those are the plugins set for this test.

By clicking the "click here to start test" button the custom test will begin. It will do each test separately and then display the results summary and advanced tabs as is typical of the standard tests.

Individual detailed reports are also available by clicking the appropriate link in the speed, video or VoIP tab once the test has finished.
