Part 3:

Fig 2
The stages below link to the numbers on fig 2 above.
Step 1: If you are not using DHCP and want to change the default settings
then uncheck the use DHCP check box and enter your own settings - more
information.
|
Board address: The IP address you want to give the board in order to
access it within a network. The default is 192.168.0.98.
Subnet Mask: The subnet mask is used to determine where the network
number in an IP address ends and the node number in an IP address begins. The
default is 255.255.255.0.
Default Gateway: The default gateway is a node (a router) on a computer
network that serves as an access point to another network. You need to enter
the IP address of the router that has access to the Internet. |
Step 2: Set the Agent Name and Unique Name that will be used to identify
the device, especially when you have more than one AccessCT box active on the
network. - very important
information
|
The agent and unique names are used on the MyConnection Server to manage the
work order for the AccessCT device.
NOTE: if an agent name is assigned then the AccessCT box will NOT appear on the AccessCT list in MyConnection Server. If you want to manage your AccessCT from the AccessCT list then leave these fields blank.
If you do assign an agent name then the remote agent you create in the tutorial below must be the same name as the agent name you choose. If this is the case follow the tutorial below to step 8. Once the agent has been created the AccessCT will automatically connect and start performing tets.

your MyConnection Server.

on. For example 80.
Password: A password can be added for extra security.
Note: don't forget it or the whole box will need to be re set. Once you
